I'm not too good at this Blog thing!

So I ment for this to be a way for people to stay in touch with us, and know what we are up to, but I never update it and know ever reads it any way. I was looking back at the old post Lots has changed once again. USANA is out we are not good sales people, The plan to "homeschool" the kids over the summer didn't quite happen like I had hoped although we did do some review when we had the chance. We did get to go out on the boat alot and we had quite a few freinds out to swim and have fun.
Casey hates walmart and wants to leave and go into buisness with his dada but this would mean a move back to billings which would mean taking the kids out of the gfreat christian school they are in and leaving the really good church we have here. thata is all that is holding us back.
Who knows??

Its been a while!

OK so its been like three months since I updated this. OOPS!
We've been busy school got out today! Yea! Of course typical Montana weather it's 50 and rainy, not very good start to summer!
We celebrated Reese's 7th birthday last weekend we had his friends from school and church out and they just had fun playing out side having water fights and jumping on the trampoline.
Casey's parents also came up with Grace and Burke and took us out on the boat. Phillip hated his life jacket at first but the he got over it and loved the boat and the water. The older kids all had fun too.
We are really looking forward to this summer living so close to the lakes and all the wonderful outdoor things here in the Helena area.Things are still going well for Casey at walmart. He is doing a really good job. Grant and Reese both had very good end of the year report cards, we are so proud of both of them.Natalie had kindergarten screening on Tuesday and is more than ready for school in the fall she scored 68 out of 80 which they said was very good. She is very excited to start. Sophie is doing good to getting tall like her sister. We are really going to try to have the kids do some kind of school work for about an hour every afternoon this summer to keep them ready and prepared for school in the fall. Natalie and Reese are excited they say that now we are homeschooling. (We will see if this goes farther than the summer).Big Phil is ten months now and growing so fast he will probably be walking very soon.
I am doing fine as well I am kind of looking for a job that I can work around caseys schedule but that will be tricky I just don't know if I can do it with phil not sleeping through the night yet.We are just praying about it and keeping our eyes and ears open.

Oh what a beautiful day!

We had such a beautiful day, sunny, warm, and NO wind. It was great!
The kids and I walked down to the park after school today, the boys rode their bikes and I pushed the two girls in the big stroller and had Big Phil in the front pack. I'm sure we were quite a sight but we had fun.
I was so proud of Grant today , some of his friends from school were at the park. When it was time to go he didn't whine he was go to just come without a fight and then his friend asked if he had to go home he told him yes and then turned to me and quietly and nicely asked if we could please stay a little longer. I decided to let him stay so I gave him the cell phone and told him to head home at 4:45 and that if he wasn't home by 5:00 I would come looking for him. I think he was surprised and a little nervous but he said he could handle it. I reminded him that this was his first chance to do this and that if he didn't do like I asked it would be a long time before he would have a second chance.
So the other kids and I got home just before 4:45 so I called the phone to make sure he would remember to look at the time and then sure enough at 5:02 he turned into the drive way. seeing him by himself like that made me realize have fast he is growing up. Hes quite the guy.
Natalie is recovered from her surgery she still has a big bump where the hernia was but we are hoping that it is just fluid and that the hernia didn't come back we just have to watch and wait.
Everyone else is great Reese is doing good in school and Sophie and Phil are both growing so fast. The boys got to go ice skating with the church group Saturday they really had fun.Rachel came for a visit this weekend we all enjoy seeing her . I t is so nice to have her only an hour and a half away.
We are all counting the days 'til summer we can't wait.

Natalies Big Day

Daddys Girl With Her New Bunny!
Natalie had her surgery this morning, all went well. She did so good and was so brave.

She got sick a couple times but now other than some pain when she moves around she is doing well.

Events like this always remind us how blessed we are to have healthy children, its so hard watching them go through it I just can't imagine having a child with a Major illness God is so good to us.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

busy week

I've been meaning to do this sooner, its been busy around here. Sophie was sick last week ended up in the ER with her but all turned out fine just a virus. Casey and I got to go out on saturday night that was the first time since october. We hired a babysitter ( with five kids that cost as much as the meal) the kids really liked her and so did we. Nice to find some one here. It actually worked out really well, Laura the sitter was supposed to come at 6:30, and at 6:00 Jamie and Aarron Christiansen called to say they were in town so we went to dinner with them. We had a good time.
We had a huge family fight last night.....
Wal- Mart had some really cool dart guns on clearance the other day so we bought one for each of the kids last night after dinner we had a war in the house I think Casey and I had as much or more fun than the kids.
Natalie surgury is thursday, it just minor but its always nerve racking to have them go under the knife.I maybe more nervouse than she is at this point.
I will be sure and do a update at the end of the week, until then have a great week.

What a day!

Phillip is 7mos. today hard to believe! He is crawling everywhere! There goes the neighborhood, another mobile Kelly Kid. He has a bad cold which got my day off to an early start, but what else is new.

This afternoon Natalie had an appointment to see if she for sure had a hernia. She does. She will have surgery on the 8th of march to repair it.This has to be short I have a lot to do tonight. Take care everyone!

Fun day for everyone!

Today we took the girls to ride the Carousel ,Phillip took his first ride too. They had fun as always, it's nice to have something like that to go do when the weather isn't nice enough to go to a park.
Casey took the boys to the store after school to look at new bikes, but the ones they wanted were still to big so they settled for a electric race track that was on clearance and a double shot dart gun.

Hey All!

How is everyone, I hope well.

We all had a good weekend, Casey worked Saturday but had Sunday off. The kids and I (well mostly Natalie and I) built a snow fort on Saturday, it was fun but I was so sore on Sunday. I need to get into shape before summer or I won't survive.

The boys were out of school today for Presidents day, We just stayed home. Grant is not feeling well tonight hopefully no one else gets it.

I am going to try to do entries on this blog as often as I can so check back often and leave messages for us in the comments.

Take care!
